All colleagues at Consilium Academies deserve great professional development.
We have colleagues working in HR, finance, marketing and communications, IT and systems, governance support, pastoral support, teaching support, catering, site management, administration and operations. We believe that these teams are vital in ensuring our schools are well-resourced, safe, compliant, and work as well as they can for the benefit of our students.
We commission and fund industry-standard qualifications for colleagues in support roles, from level 3 to level 7, including with National and Chartered organisations such as Charted Institute of Management Accountants, Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, Institute of School Business Leaders, Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management, QA Limited and others, to ensure our staff receive both excellent development and recognised qualifications. In some instances, we are also able to support and fund teaching assistant and higher-level teaching assistant colleagues, or colleagues in student-facing pastoral and safeguarding roles, to qualify as teachers should they wish.
Just as we have cross-trust networks for teaching and school leadership colleagues, we run a cross-trust network for our financial and operations colleagues to share best practice and ask questions.
